We are a research group based at Swansea University studying animal behaviour.

We study systems from fish schools and bird flocks to primate societies and robot swarms.

Our research is driven by fundamental questions in behavioural ecology and applied challenges in conservation, technology, and environmental management.

We develop theory, collect high-resolution data in the lab and field, and use advanced analytical approaches to study behaviour across scales.
